We are looking for Independent (self employed) GPs to join our the ‘out of hours’ clinical team within SevernSide Integrated Urgent Care Service. Launched in April 2019 the service combines NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours service, serving patients all across the BNSSG area. The service provides:

24/7 navigation for patients to the most appropriate service to meet their needs

24/7 Clinical Assesment Service (CAS) to provide clinical telephone consultations for patients, remote working from home an option for those with a reliable internet connection and Microsoft windows based computer

Out of hours face to face appointments at Treatment Centres

Out of hours home visits when appropriate

We work from a variety of locations so you are able to choose shifts in areas that suit you.

These include bases in South Bristol, Cossham, Southmead area, Weston Super Mare and Clevedon. In addition we have ‘mobile’ shifts. There is a possibility of working some shifts remotely.

Any independent GPs looking to join BrisDoc please email, as part of your onboarding we will need copies of the following:

Curriculum Vitae, including the names and contact numbers of two clinical referees.

Two forms of identification

Copy of medical indemnity and last DBS disclosure (ideally less than 6 months old); we can facilitate obtaining an up to date DBS if required

Immunisation history, to include Hepatitis B and Measles- although this is not essential to start work woth us

Evidence of training-Including Resus, Child Protection Level 3, Safeguarding Adults Level 3 and Awareness of the Mental Capacity Act (usually linked to Adult safeguarding training)
