A New Year, a New Job?

Calling All ANPs, Pharmacists and Paramedics!

Allied Health Professional, Fallodon Way Medical Centre Henleaze

Come and join one of Bristol’s most respected General Practice teams! Fallodon Way is a fun, friendly and high achieving practice, and you would be joining a close-knit team of supportive professionals in a long established and respected surgery.

This unique opportunity is for an Allied Health Professional (Paramedic, Pharmacist or ANP) to provide an acute clinic for adults at the surgery. Delivering a quality service alongside the GPs, practice Pharmacist and Care Coordinator, the clinician will conduct both face to face and telephone consultations with patients who have urgent medical problems. This is a new role, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape both the role and the practice response to same day needs.

Being an independent prescriber is desirable but not essential; the practice would support the right candidate in achieving this. The successful candidate must be able to reach autonomous decisions and ideally should have experience in “minor illness” and telephone consultation. It is envisaged that the role could include home visiting in time.

The role will be approximately 25 hours a week over 4 or 5 days a week and so could be worked during school hours if required. Salary will be competitive dependent on experience.

Information about the practice is available at www.fwmc.org.uk  To arrange an informal visit or to apply (by sending your CV), please contact the Practice Manager, Leigh Frost on leighfrost@nhs.net or 0117 962 4692. Closing date is Sunday 3rd February 2019.
