The North Somerset team at Mendip Vale Medical Group (MVMG) looks after patients across a semi-rural location in North Somerset within easy reach of Bristol. Having merged with Riverbank Medical Centre in Worle and Sunnyside Surgery in Clevedon we serve over 44,000. Our Langford site is an impressive modern facility, purpose built in 2013, with great parking and equipment. Our St Georges site is a wonderful 2012 purpose built surgery with all the facilities to make your working environment enjoyable. We will shortly be combining our Yatton and Congresbury surgeries into a new purpose built superb medical practice at Smallway with the latest design fit for the provision of modern health care, making our estate one of the newest and brightest in the south west. Riverbank will be moving into the St Georges site which is less than a mile away shortly. Sunnyside Surgery is well placed in Clevedon with an attached pharmacy, serving patients living in Clevedon and the surrounding villages of Tickenham, Kenn, Kingston Seymour, Walton in Gordano and Weston in Gordano.
There are currently 40 GPs who are fortunate to be working with 10 Advanced Practitioners, and 4 Clinical Pharmacists. We have a team of nurses that are second to none, providing coil and implant fitting, chronic disease review and management alongside core nursing services provision which is underpinned by a valued team of Health care Assistants, Patient Co-ordinator and admin teams.
MVMG is a thriving GMS practice with very high QOF achievement using EMIS web as the clinical system. Our service provides safe and effective care to the population across North Somerset, we are a high-achieving and well-organised practice, and we embrace innovative ways of working and along with our Multi-Disciplinary team approach to care provision.
We are looking for further Clinical Read Coders to join our Sunnyside team as we continue to expand in our friendly and innovative practices working a minimum of 25 hours per week. We offer a great package, with access to training and development funding. You will be working with a friendly and knowledgably team, undertaking a variety of tasks using your knowledge and experience to help us continually improve safe, effective, patient-centred and efficient prescribing at the practice. We will work with you to develop and enhance your skills, with options to explore how you want to shape your role going forward.
