It is suitable for healthcare assistants\, students employed within the practice\, such as student nurses\, student nursing associates\, student allied health professionals and student pharmacists\, as well as GP assistants\, care coordinators\, unregistered pharmacy technicians\, and any other role not registered with a professional body. \nAligned with the UKHSA National Minimum Standards\, the training provides essential knowledge and practical skills to deliver safe and effective vaccination services. \n  \nKey learning outcomes include: \n\nUnderstanding national immunisation schedules and vaccine recommendations\nSafe and effective vaccine administration techniques\nProper storage\, handling\, and disposal of vaccines\nLegal and ethical responsibilities\, including consent and documentation\nIdentification and management of adverse reactions\nCommunication strategies to support informed decision-making and reduce vaccine hesitancy\nInfection prevention and control during immunisation\nSpecial considerations for vulnerable groups\, including children\, pregnant women\, and those with underlying conditions\nAccurate record-keeping and data management\nThis course prepares registered professionals to begin immunisation practice in clinical settings confidently.\n\n  \nThis course includes training on influenza\, herpes zoster\, pneumococcal\, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccinations.
