DESCRIPTION:Number of Capacity: Fully booked \n  \nTwo-Day Core Training for Unregistered Staff (Including HCSWs)   \nThis two-day core training is designed for unregistered staff\, including Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs)\, who support immunisation delivery under appropriate supervision. In line with UKHSA National Minimum Standards\, the course builds core competencies and understanding of the immunisation process. Participants will learn:  \n·        The purpose and structure of the UK immunisation programme  \n·        Roles and responsibilities in supporting vaccine delivery  \n·        Safe handling\, storage\, and disposal of vaccines  \n·        Recognising and reporting adverse reactions  \n·        Effective communication with patients and carers\, including addressing concerns  \n·        Infection control principles in immunisation settings  \n·        Supporting documentation and record-keeping  \n·        Awareness of legal and ethical boundaries\, including consent processes  \nThis training empowers unregistered staff to contribute confidently and safely to immunisation services within their scope of practice.

SUMMARY:Introduction to Wound Management (F2F)
DESCRIPTION:Maximum Capacity: 14 \nIntroduction to wound management is aimed at non-registered professionals\, e.g.\, HCAs or nurses who are newly qualified/completely new to wounds. \n  \nAim of the course: \nAn introduction to wound and leg ulcer assessment and management. The course covers assessment of tissue types\, assessment and management of infection\, exudate levels\, wound edges/ surrounding skin including knowing when to escalate deteriorating and/ or infected wounds/ leg ulcers and the appropriate onwards referral required. The training also covers the local dressing formulary\, dressing indications and the leg ulcer pathways at a basic level.
