The session also considers the leadership role during inspections and how continuous improvement can support services to remain inspection ready every day. \n  \nCourse content: \n\nUnderstanding CQC expectations and well-led characteristics\nPreparing services and teams for inspection\nEvidence gathering and effective documentation\nStaff engagement and leadership during inspections\nDemonstrating and embedding continuous improvement\n\nOn completion of this course delegates will be able to (expected outcome): \n\nUnderstand CQC expectations and their contribution to a well-led service\nPrepare effectively for inspection through appropriate evidence\, documentation and staff engagement\nSupport continuous improvement and provide confident leadership during the inspection process\n\n  \nGovernance & Risk \nThis module develops nurse leaders’ understanding of their responsibilities for creating safe\, accountable clinical services. \nDelegates will explore the principles of clinical governance and effective risk management\, including incident reporting\, risk identification and assessment\, Duty of Candour and learning from events.
