Scenarios will consolidate the learning to help you deal with side effects and be able to counsel patients in other types of contraception. Brief overview of STIs and testing. We will be using the UKMEC.

It provides an overview of the knowledge\, standards and responsibilities required to deliver vaccinations safely and effectively\, in line with UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) guidance and national minimum standards. \nThe course enables delegates to assess their role within vaccination services and ensure they meet expected professional and clinical requirements. \n  \nWhat This Training Covers \nThe training focuses on national seasonal immunisation programmes\, including: \n\nInfluenza (Flu) vaccination\nShingles (Herpes Zoster) vaccination\nPneumococcal (Pneumo) vaccination\nRespiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccination\n\nContent is aligned with current UKHSA guidance and relevant Green Book principles. \nKey Learning Areas \nDelegates will review: \n\nThe purpose and public health impact of seasonal immunisation programmes\nNational eligibility criteria and cohort identification\nVaccine schedules and seasonal timing\nContraindications\, precautions and clinical risk assessment\nInformed consent and patient communication\nSafe vaccine storage\, handling and administration principles\nRecognition and management of adverse events\nDocumentation\, record keeping and reporting requirements\nProfessional accountability\, scope of practice and governance standards\n\n  \nWho the Training Is Suitable For \nThis training is suitable for: \n\nNurses and healthcare practitioners involved in immunisation delivery\nPharmacists and pharmacy teams\nHealthcare assistants supporting vaccination services\nLearners returning to immunisation practice or requiring an update\n\nThe course supports knowledge development and professional understanding.
