About the Role:

Come and join Bridge View Medical as our new Governance Manager where you will take the lead on designing and implementing our clinical safety and organisational quality arrangements.  You will also provide effective oversight of incident reporting and investigation and the coordination of corporate governance arrangements to ensure BVM is compliant with the Care Quality Commission’s instruments and policies.

Your role will focus upon providing advice and support on compliance processes.  You will also build upon the work we have put in place to ensure that our governance framework is patient focused and aligned to healthcare regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with our Executive Team to support our Board members and take the lead in statutory and regulatory compliance reporting to our CQC-Lead GP Partner.

About You:
You will have proven experience and excellent knowledge of the NHS as a whole, and will ideally have working knowledge of the primary care operating environment.  You will be educated to degree-level and have an appropriate qualification for this role, with proven experience of investigating incidents and occurrences.  You will be comfortable in a project-based environment, and you will have strong communication skills and high level of IT literacy. You will be innovative, embrace continuous improvement, exercise sound, evidence-based judgment and provide clear direction.

The Job Offer

We are offering a 1-year fixed term contract to deliver this project. In addition to a competitive salary of £33,000, we are offering a generous 6 weeks holiday allowance, plus 8 bank holidays.  We offer flexible working; we have family-friendly policies and participate in the nursery voucher scheme.
