Hanham Secure Health is a private healthcare organisation delivering NHS commissioned primary
care services to patients within secure environments. We help to deliver holistic healthcare services to
those individuals within some of the local criminal justice system settings. We currently operate within
secure settings across the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire area.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Administrator to join our Healthcare Admin team to provide administration services
to the adult female patients at HMP Eastwood Park.

The Admin teams work alongside HSH’s clinical teams at each site, as well as working alongside other
clinical and prison teams including the Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP)
mental health team.

Managing a range of databases, reports and audits, assistance with the administrative tasks
associated with clinical referrals, case files, clinics and appointment scheduling and email and
telephone queries from health care professionals on behalf of our patients.

The success of this role relies on strong administrational skills, effective communication, the ability to
work effectively within a team and on own initiative, as well as a willingness to be flexible and to
adapt.

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate will have have English Language and Math GCSE to grade A-C or equivalent, as
well as a qualification in business administration or demonstrable experience in an administrative
role.

You will need previous experience of working with Microsoft Office Suite and have an awareness of the
importance of Data Protection and Information Governance principles. A warm, person-centred
approach to caring for patients is a quality we look for in all our people.

You will need to be organised, have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the
attention to detail and accuracy in recording and transferring information.

Previous experience of working within a healthcare or secure environment is not required and the
successful candidate will receive robust induction and training, as well as on-going training,
supervision and mentoring. HSH supports and promotes further learning, development and, where
