LEAD PRACTICE NURSE – SEA MILLS SURGERY, BRISTOL
Hours: 18 – 24 hours/week over 3 or 4 weekdays, probably to include 1 early evening shift.
Salary: Dependent on experience.

The Partners at Sea Mills Surgery are looking for an enthusiastic & experienced Practice Nurse to join, support & develop our Nursing team of three PNs & two HCAs.
General treatment room skills are essential, including wound care, cervical screening, immunisations and health education. Experience in chronic disease management, especially diabetes, would be advantageous. The role includes acting as Infection Prevention and Control lead for the surgery, and combines clinical and managerial responsibilities
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability both to lead, and to work as a team member. You will work collaboratively with the whole practice team to meet the needs of our patients, both with our approachable & supportive doctors, our friendly reception team, and our excellent admin team for all technical, IT & administrative matters. You will be supported in your own professional development, and will be involved in practice decision-making.
