Locum GP (various sessions available) – Montpelier Health Centre

Montpelier Health Centre is a busy city centre health centre with a varied and multi-cultural patient demographic.  As well as providing day to day GP/nursing care we also have on site members of Bristol Drugs Project (BDP) and The Haven (asylum seekers support).
We are looking for Locum GPs to cover sessions at MHC and also Pilning Surgery in South Gloucestershire, various sessions are available across upcoming weeks.  Any interested persons must be able to provide the following:
. CV . 2 references 

. Copy of passport, UK birth certificate, or other evidence of eligibility to work in the UK 

 . Photo ID (passport or drivers licence) 

 . Evidence of GMC registration and/or an online check done in the last year 

 . Evidence of Performer list registration and/or an online check done in the last year 

. Current year indemnity certificate or evidence DBS check – if it is more than 3 years old, ask them for a more recent one 

 . Vaccinations – need evidence such a print out of vaccination history, and/or serology results confirming immunity 

 . Hep B – if vaccination print out, should have had course of 3 Hep B vacs followed by a booster after 5 years, or serology confirming immunity 

 . Measles – if a print out of vaccination history they should have had 2 doses of MMR vaccine, or serology confirming immunity 


Training – we will need certificates / evidence of training dated within the last 12 months: 


. BLS / resus cert 

. Safeguarding Adults & Children Level 3 

. MCA & DoLS (Mental Capacity Act & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) 

. Fire safety & prevention 

. Infection prevention & control including handwashing 

. Information governance / data security awareness 

. Manual Handling 

. Health & Safety 

. Equality & Diversity
