Greenway Community Practice is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join the team to help out over the winter months (between November and April) initially.

As a receptionist you will be required to provide a point of contact for patients and assist them in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional. You will be required to undertake a variety of administrative tasks to assist in the smooth running of the department including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff.

The successful applicant will need be an excellent team player, with experience in managing multiple tasks of a varied nature and in dealing with the public. Experience within a similar role is essential and it may suit someone looking for additional hours in the run up to Christmas alongside their current job role.

For this seasonal position of between 6 and 16 hours an hourly rate of £9.00 is on offer, together with an NHS pension and 23 days holiday pro rata’d increasing after each years’ service. A permanent role may be available at the end of this period.
