Fireclay Health provides health care from two established practices, Lodgeside Surgery and St George Health Centre in East Bristol. List size is 22,500 and expanding. You will be joining the practice at an exciting time as we seek to expand our clinical team and develop our services across sites. The clinical team currently consists of 16 GPs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 3 Practice Pharmacists, a Physio, 6 Practice Nurses and 8 HCAs

Job Overview:
The successful applicant/s will provide a first point of contact within the Practice urgent care team, for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems, making use of skills in history taking, physical examination, problem-solving and clinical decision-making, to establish a diagnosis and management plan. They may also contribute to a range of other clinical services dependent on their skills and experience. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing clinical leadership as required.

We welcome applications from urgent care/nurse practitioners able to deliver minor illness consultations and clinical telephone triage as a minimum skill set. An Independent Prescribing qualification would be beneficial.
