Part-time Treatment Room Nurse – Charlotte Keel Medical Practice, Bristol.

BrisDoc Healthcare Services is a growing healthcare provider that is seeking to employ a part-time Treatment Room Nurse at Charlotte Keel Medical Practice, Bristol.

Charlotte Keel Medical Practice has a patient population of approximately 17,000 patients. The Practice is at the vibrant & colourful heart of Bristol’s inner city, serving a population from all corners of the world and from all walks of life, and passionately believes in responding to all of our patients’ cultural & social agendas. The team is enthusiastic and friendly and place a strong emphasis on a supportive environment.

The opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Treatment Room Nurse to join our large nursing team working in the Treatment Room. This would suit a newly qualified nurse, and training will be offered for the right candidate.

We are seeking a pro-active candidate who will strive to deliver a high standard of patient care. The main duties of the role include:

· Wound dressings and management

· Childhood immunisations

· NHS travel immunisations and other immunisations campaigns e.g. flu

· Cervical cytology

· Injections

· ECGs

· Phlebotomy

· Equipment monitoring, e.g. vaccine fridge temperature

Hours: 20-34 hours per week, worked over 3-4 days, and may include Saturdays. The shifts are booked 4-6 weeks ahead.

Salary: £ £24,730-£26,724 per annum pro rata, subject to qualifications and experience, plus enhanced rates of pay on Saturdays and weekdays from 6.30pm (must work until at least 8pm).
