The team at Mendip Vale Medical Group (MVMG) delivers a Partner led service across North Somerset and Bristol. Serving well over 50,000 patients across 6 sites we have a high caliber workforce delivering innovative care. With pending retirements we are seeking exceptional candidates to join our 15 Partner practice over the coming year.

As a high-achieving and well-organised practice, we embrace a Multi-Disciplinary Team approach to care provision. MVMG were one of the first in the area to put Clinical Pharmacists into General Practice; offer a nurse led coil service; run an advanced practitioner led model of care for our nursing and residential homes and use an MDT approach for urgent care. This approach sees our acute practitioners undertaking the majority of on the day visits.

Changes made from merging and working more effectively have enabled us to make investment into our buildings. The Langford site is an impressive modern facility, purpose built in 2013, with great parking and equipment. The St Georges site is a wonderful 2012 purpose built surgery with all the facilities to make your working environment enjoyable. Sunnyside Surgery is well placed in Clevedon with an attached pharmacy, serving patients living in Clevedon and the surrounding villages We will shortly be refurbishing our Yatton surgery and extending our Monks Park site with the latest design fit for the provision of modern health care, making our estate one of the newest and brightest in the south west.

MVMG is a thriving GMS practice with very high QOF achievement and will see income of around £10 million for the current financial year. Sessional funding for research; Occupational Health services; training; providing medical cover for Bristol football and rugby teams; roles in Commissioning; PCN Clinical Directorship; Locality Leads and Dermatology GPwSI are just some of the activities partners are involved in. We can offer you a highly competitive package to suit you and your lifestyle. Protected learning and the opportunity to develop a specialist interest are just a few of the benefits joining us will offer.
