permanent salaried General Practitioners – Culverhay Surgery
Culverhay Surgery is expanding and taking over primary care services in nearby Berkeley from 1st April 2020. We are seeking permanent salaried General Practitioners to join our happy team to work at the Berkeley site. We are very flexible, but ideally looking for GPs interested in 4 – 8 sessions per week. Start dates are also up for negotiation and could be as early as 1st January 2020 onwards if that suits.
We are a friendly, community orientated GMS Practice committed to providing an excellent service to our patients (6,400 in Wotton currently, and 5,000 in Berkeley from 1st April 2020). Quality of life – for both our patients and our staff – is at the centre of what we do.
We rank very highly in the National GP Patient Satisfaction Survey.
Experienced GP Partners (each with own special interest areas) offering support and mentorship, to encourage personal development and develop special interest areas.
We keep workload manageable, with the offer of 15 minute appointments and daily breaks for coffee catch up and colleague support.
We have been a training practice since 2011 and regularly have at least one registrar at any given time.
Both sites are located conveniently for the M4/M5, the Cotswolds, Bristol and Gloucester and are based in a beautiful rural part of the county with a catchment area of over 500 square miles.
We have a stable, supportive team, with longstanding members of staff. We work hard but also enjoy many social events together throughout the year.
We form part of the Berkeley Vale Primary Care Network (one of our partners is the Clinical Director job share)
Our most recent CQC rating Good, with Outstanding for Care of the Elderly (August 2018).
Consistently high QOF achievement, plus participation in a broad range of enhanced services.
Use of SystmOne and Ardens templates.
