Welcome to the area, as Avon LMC we represent Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire each of which, has a lot to offer to prospective residents. Below we have a brief description of each of the areas and links to further information if you wish to find out more.


Bristol

The dramatic views of the famous Brunel suspension bridge greet you as you approach this vibrant and diverse city. Voted by the Sunday Times as the best place to live in the UK for 2017, Bristol has a lot to offer everyone.

Bristol’s history in sea trade can be glimpsed at the fashionable harbour side where there are plenty of attractions, restaurants and bars. Or why not head to one of Bristol’s many markets where you can find a range of independent retailers offering up something unique to Bristol.

Alternatively, you can head out of the city to soon be surrounded by green countryside that’ll make even the most fervent city goer sit back and admire the view.

North Somerset

Beautiful countryside and coastal walks spring to mind when describing North Somerset, from the Mendip Hills to Brean Down with its beach and natural pier, there’s lots to explore.

For those looking for something more adventurous, Weston-super-Mare’s beach offers a designated wind zone for anything from kiteboarding to kite buggy-ing. Why not top the evening off by visiting one of the ranges of bars and clubs in this vibrant coastal town.

Meanwhile, families can enjoy a range of different activities including Tynstefield, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm and the Lake Grounds in Portishead.

South Gloucestershire

With market towns, shopping malls, historic buildings and attractions for all ages South Gloucestershire is a great place to be.

For those in need of some retail therapy, The Mall at Cribbs Causeway offers a range of high street shops all in one place. Shopping, is not your thing? Perhaps a visit to the Bristol Aerospace Centre where you can view the magnificent Concord and take in the engineering history of the area including Airbus and Rolls Royce.

For family fun, there are many attractions including the Wild Place Project and Avon Valley Railway where you can take a ride in a classic carriage on one of the steam or diesel engines.
