Salaried GP – Brent Area Medical Centre

Due to increasing demand and our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible care, we are seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our small, supportive team of clinicians for 2-4 sessions per week

.

We are located in the village of East Brent, just 5 minutes from Junction 22 of the M5 and 35 minutes from Bristol, offering an excellent blend of rural community practice with easy access to transport links.

Practice Overview

• 3,600 patients
• Good CQC rating across all areas (Dec 2015)
• High QoF achievement
• Team includes:
  • 2 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs
  • 2 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA
  • Wonderful admin support team
  • PCN Health Coach and pharmacist
  • MSK FCP
  • Experienced Reception, Dispensary & Admin teams
• Active involvement in North Sedgemoor PCN
• Low number of home visits
• Full range of services including family planning and travel medicine
• Monthly MDT meetings with community colleagues
• Strong relationships with neighbouring practices
• PCN with proactive ARRS recruitment

We work to a Practice Formulary that supports dispensary sustainability and profitability, reviewed regularly to ensure high?quality prescribing.
