The ICB has recently shared financial impact statements for each practice following the conclusion of the Supplementary Basket Review. Although some practices will see an uplift to this funding, it will no doubt destabilise those practices who are seeing their funding cut. The LMC has always argued for “levelling up” of funding so that no practice loses out, but this has not happened, in spite of rising expenses and a national contract which is unfit for purpose.

The LMC would like to understand the impact of this review on practice resilience and sustainability, and we would be grateful if you could return one survey per practice.

We plan to share the anonymous results with the ICB with the aim of securing more funding into general practice. We will also share the headlines of this survey within our weekly newsletter.
