GP Lead – BNSSG Primary Care Training Hub
Overview
Sessional | 2–4 sessions per week | Fixed term (12–18 months) | Hybrid (BNSSG)
The BNSSG Training Hub is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated GP Lead to join our forward-thinking system leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and influence education, workforce development, and modern general practice across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
About the role
You will provide clinical leadership and act as a credible GP voice across the system, supporting the development of high-quality, inclusive training and workforce initiatives.
A key focus will be building strong relationships with practices and PCNs, ensuring Training Hub programmes are clinically relevant and aligned to GP priorities.
Key responsibilities
• Provide GP clinical leadership to Training Hub programmes
• Build relationships with GPs, practices and PCNs across BNSSG
• Influence workforce transformation and promote MDT working
• Support development of high-quality learning environments
• Act as a conduit between practices and system partners
About you
• Qualified GP with current GMC registration
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general practice
• Strong interest in education, workforce or leadership
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
