The process for appointing the new Chair will start on 1/11/23. Any of the Main Committee members or current Board can put themselves forward to be elected Chair. The window for expressions of interest will be 2 weeks followed by 1 week for voting. Therefore, we anticipate being able to announce your new Chair by the end of November with a proposed start date of January 2024.

The agenda for the Conference of England LMCs was published last week. The agenda can be found attached below. The motions included in the agenda will form GPC England policy, for future negotiations with NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care, if the motions have a majority vote.

This year Avon LMC want to gauge our local GP and practice feeling on some of the motions. If you click this link you will be able to indicate your support or otherwise for a selection of the motions which your representatives will use when voting on your behalf.
