Hello! I’m Michaela Bohacova, the Communications Officer at ALMC. Since joining the team in July 2023, I initially served as the Information and Compliance Officer. With an undergraduate degree in Business and Events Management, and a postgraduate degree in Marketing from UWE, obtained in 2022, my role now revolves around curating our newsletter, managing our website, and actively engaging on our social media platforms. My goal is to ensure our communications are both informative and engaging. I’m always here to assist, so please feel free to reach out at michaela@almc.co.uk ! |
The Committee is made up of representatives from each PCN and the list of people representing your PCN can be found attached here.
Avon LMC Committee will be meeting on 15th January for the first meeting of the year. There will be a number of items to discuss including clinical/interface issues, Board Director T&Cs, and future meetings format, to name but a few.
Please do engage with your PCN Committee representative if you have any issues you wish us to discuss in future. It would be helpful for your PCN Clinical Directors to include the Committee representatives in any PCN email trails or WhatsApp groups.
Avon LMC and GPCB have been working closely with the ICB to review the funding formula for allocation of resources for the supplementary basket of services.
We have been pushing for extra funds to be available in general practice to resource this, so that no practice loses out, but we are informed that the total financial envelope will remain the same.
We will work hard to ensure there is resilience for individual practices who may lose money through this re-balancing process, and push for a softer landing so that practices remain sustainable.
The final decision around which funding formula is used lies with the ICB Board.
