  • Nafeesa Arshad                47 votes
  • Chris Palmer                       27 votes

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took the time to participate in our recent elections. The ALMC board is thrilled to announce the successful appointment of Nafeesa Arshad, who will be representing the South Gloucestershire and Avon Local Medical Committee.

We eagerly anticipate welcoming Nafeesa in the upcoming year of 2024.

We would like to thank the other candidate, Chris Palmer, for his dedication to the ALMC and his continued passion for the future of General Practice.

Message from Nafeesa:

‘’Hi all, thank you so much for voting for me and really pleased to have been appointed. For those who don’t know me, I am a Partner at Concord Medical Centre in Little Stoke and mum of three! Being a Partner and having been both salaried and a locum in BNSSG in the past I truly can appreciate the challenges we all face. I hope by being a Board Director, we together can make changes for General Practice, and even small wins can make a huge difference. I look forward to working with you all and feel free to reach out to me. Many thanks again.’’
