– LATEST NEWS –
Mental Health MoU Under Review The LMC with, legal input, are reviewing the MoU that could underpin the development of Integrated mental health & wellbeing Network Teams (MINT). MINT teams will bring NHS, social care and VCSE leads together to provide communities with quick access to clinical, psychological and social support. To ensure that general practices and PCNs are protected in these new working arrangements Avon LMC are reviewing this governance paperwork for this service development. In addition, we hope to avoid duplication of work for localities, PCNs and practices by concluding this review once, on behalf of all BNSSG practices. LMC England Conference The annual LMC England Conference takes place on 24th and 25th November in London. We have one place remaining for a GP to represent BNSSG general practice at this Conference that helps to set the priorities for our national negotiators. Accommodation and travel expenses are reimbursed. This is such an important opportunity to help construct the national agenda for general practice that the LMC will also pay for attendees time to attend the Conference. If you would like to know more or to put yourself forward, please email mandy@almc.co.uk. As we only have one space available, this will be filled on a first, come, first served basis.
