BMA Local Event – Resilience and Well-Being for Doctors
Doctors experience difficult and emotionally challenging situations in the front line of healthcare. It is therefore crucial that the inherent and increasing stresses are recognised, and staff are prepared for the potential impact of such pressures on their well-being.

- Define more clearly their current stresses and pressures
- Identify the most effective methods for increasing resilience
- Use a coaching approach to discover what they want to do differently
- Explore options for change
- Find sources of help and support
