Who Should Attend?

This workshop is aimed at HCA's already performing Spirometry to update their skills and knowledge.

Learning Outcomes

There will be plenty of opportunity to revisit Spirometry technique and participants are invited to bring their practice spirometer although this is not essential.

Learning outcomes include:

• Care and maintenance of the equipment
• Preparation of the patient
• Performing the test
• Rationale for performing Spirometry
• Practice protocols
