Who Should Attend?

Designed for new Practice Managers, Deputies of those supporting the traditional Practice Manager role (Operational Managers, Finance Managers, Office Managers), to provide an overview of the role of the Practice Manager in terms of the contractual requirements and the finances.

This session would deliver the existing Essential Management Course training, which covers the following areas:

• The NHS reforms, including introduction of PCN’s

• Overview of the GP contract, including core elements of the contract such asessentialand

additional services, enhanced services, and QOF

• Overview of Finances

• How the finances are calculated, and how these are mapped to the GP contract

• Deciding whether to undertake an enhanced service

• Quality and Outcomes Framework – tips on maximising income

• Care Quality Commission
