Mainly for nurses who are doing COPD and asthma reviews, HCAs can attend, but will be more on diagnosis, management and referral pathways
Aim of the course
- Review the latest updates in diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of asthma and COPD.
- Understand evolving best practice in inhaler technique, prescribing, and patient education.
- Explore integrated approaches to managing exacerbations and reducing hospital admissions.
- Strengthen confidence in supporting patients with long-term respiratory conditions.

- Recognise common symptoms and triggers
- Know how asthma is diagnosed in practice
