Intimate Examinations (F2F)

Each session consists of:

  • 1 hour of theory, delivered via presentation, covering:
    • Relevant anatomy
    • Common presentations
    • Red flags
  • 1 hour of practical skills, focusing on:
    • Examination techniques
    • Demonstration on both normal and abnormal pathology

Please note that these sessions do not sign participants off as competent. Competency sign-off must be completed in clinical practice by their supervisor.

 

Morning Session 9:00 – 12:00

 

Session 1: Male External Genital Examination

Session 2: Digital Rectal Examination

Afternoon Session 12:30 – 15:30

 

Session 3: Breast Examination

  • Nipple changes or discharge
  • Nipple thrush
  • Skin changes

  • Breast abscess
  • Male breast symptoms

 

Session 4: Digital Vaginal Examination and Bimanual Technique
