LMC Guidance 
How do we keep patients safe whilst moving towards a safe workload?  The BMA has produced guidance on safe working in general practice which highlights the following:

1. Diverting patients to: 
– Extended access appointments 
– Walk-in clinic services 
– Clinical Pharmacy consultation services 
– ARRS staff 
2. Clinical triage and creation of waiting lists for non-urgent problems 
3. Emergencies to be directed to 111 or emergency departments
