Deputy Team Manager – BrisDoc Healthcare Services

Job summary
The core purpose of this role is:
To support the operational delivery of the IUC service across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire,
To support the Team Managers with filling the operational rota and assist with weekend and Bank Holiday planning,
To support the Team Managers by deputising Base Manager responsibilities at times of annual leave or absence,
To actively participate in covering operational shifts to ensure robust rota position.
As part of the Service Delivery Team, you will play a vital part in leading our service alongside the wider Operational Team. At all times the post holder must act in a manner consistent with our code of conduct.

Main duties of the job
Patient Care
To support the Team Managers to provide operational management, supervision and quality assurance to ensure that high standards of patient care are maintained across the service
Line, Team and Base Management
To deputise for Team Managers to support their team members during times of annual leave and absence.
Ensure that staff adhere to relevant BrisDoc policies such as Health and Safety, Information Governance, and Care Quality Commission standards.
To deputise for Team Managers to manage their treatment centre during times of annual leave or absence,
Rota Management
Tosupport the Team Managers with filling the operational rota in their Rota Person of the Week duties and assist with weekend and Bank Holiday planning.
To assist with planning contingencies for unexpected absence that may impact shift cover.
Communication and Collaboration
Facilitate open and effective communication within the team and across departments,
Foster a collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork and a shared sense of purpose,
Induction, Training and Development
To support the Team Managers with the induction, training and development of operational staff,
To help identify training needs of staff and support Team Managers in planning appropriate training and development.
