Healthcare Assistant – Tyntesfield Medical Group
Overview
23hrs – 28.5hrs per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
To work across all practice sites
Comprised of Backwell Surgery, Long Ashton Surgery, Brockway and Tower House Medical Centres in Nailsea
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working as a Healthcare Assistant; however, this is not essential, as full training will be provided.
The role includes a range of treatment room duties such as phlebotomy, routine blood pressure monitoring, new patient health checks, urine testing, dressings, ECGs, and ear syringing. The candidate should also be willing to undertake further training in line with the responsibilities outlined in the job description. An NVQ qualification (or equivalent) would be advantageous.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who works well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with both patients and clinicians. Full support and guidance will be provided to ensure success in the role.
