Recepionist / Administrator – Pilning Surgery
Overview
Location: Based predominately at Pilning Surgery, with potential need to work from
Almondsbury Surgery.
Pay: £13.07 per hour
Expected hours: 18.5 per week
Monday 8am - 6pm
Tuesday 8.30am - 7pm
Open to discussion if these hours are not suitable.

role is predominantly based at our Pilning Surgery with potential to work at

Job Summary
As part of our Reception Team, you will assist and support the practice in providing
an efficient, professional and welcoming first point of contact (both via the telephone
and face to face) to all of Hanham Health patients and visitors to the practice.
Main Duties
Telephone Support – answer and deal with patient calls.
IT – EMIS, NHS Mail, Anima - dealing with patient’s requests submitted
electronically.
Front desk – Greeting patients and consulting with members of the practice team.
Administration
Filing of patient notes and updates as necessary e.g. change of address.
Photocopy as requested.
Assist the practice with monitoring and ensuring daily tasks are completed/up to
date.
Processing post and other correspondence efficiently and promptly
Provide test results to patients.
Communicate effectively with other team members, patients, healthcare
professional and external parties, adapting where needed.
Answer and ensure all calls are answered professionally.
Registration of new patients.
Process appointment requests for today and future appointments from patients
by telephone, online and in person using our Anima system.
