Salaried GP – Milton Road Surgery
Overview
We are a friendly, welcoming, and supportive training practice looking for a Salaried GP to join our four
partner practice, working alongside experienced salaried GPs and a wider multidisciplinary team, including
ANPs, who undertake the majority of home visits.
We offer flexibility around the number of sessions per week, with no Monday working required, allowing for
an excellent work–life balance.
We would be delighted to hear from experienced GPs, returning GPs, and newly qualified GPs. As a
training practice, we can provide mentoring, clinical support, and guidance to help with the transition from
GP training into salaried practice.
Learning, development, and team support are at the heart of our practice. We pride ourselves on creating a
positive, collaborative, and genuinely supportive working environment, where colleagues enjoy teaching,
mentoring, and working together.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking for a well-supported salaried role, with experienced
colleagues, protected clinical support, and a strong emphasis on professional development.
Why Weston-super-Mare?
Yes, we have the beach (and the famous mud!), but Weston offers much more than that.
Working here gives you the opportunity to be part of a smaller, highly collaborative PCN, where practices
work closely together, innovation is encouraged, and individuals can genuinely have a voice in shaping
local primary care services.
We are also fortunate to have Weston PLANET, a unique educational charity run by local GPs for primary
care clinicians across Weston-super-Mare, Worle, and the surrounding villages. PLANET meetings are held
on the third Thursday of each month (excluding August and December) and include lunch followed by high
quality educational sessions, providing excellent opportunities for learning, networking, and professional
development.
If you would like an informal chat or further information, we would love to hear from you.
