Kingswood Health Centre are looking to recruit a new Salaried GP.

This post is for 4 sessions per week. The proposed working pattern is Monday (2 sessions), Wednesday (1 session), Thursday (1 session).

The proposed salary is c.£10,500 per session (depending on experience). The Practice also covers the cost of indemnity and we offer terms in line with the BMA model contract.

Kingswood Health Centre is a purpose-built, modern GP practice set on the South Gloucestershire fringe with Bristol with a list size of around 13,000 patients. We are close to the A4174 ring road as well as the Bristol to Bath Railway path cycle route. Staff parking is available as well as secure bike storage and shower facilities.

We currently have a team of 8 partners - 7 GPs and a Managing Partner - and 5 Salaried GPs. We are also supported by an excellent multiskilled workforce – 3 clinical pharmacists, a pharmacy technician, 2 prescription clerks, First Contact Physiotherapist, Care Coordinators and our well-established practice nursing and HCA team.

Our non-clinical staff provide excellent support to our clinical team via care navigation, document workflow and high quality secretarial and administrative support. We also have a fantastic senior management team who support the operations and wellbeing of the practice.

We operate an online total-triage system as our access model which has been in place for over 2 years with excellent feedback. GPs do an average of one on-call/duty triage session per fortnight, supported by our Triage Team Coordinator. GPs work to 15 minute appointments. We are an established training practice teaching medical students and GP Registrars at various levels. We support our salaried GPs development and encourage them to participate in teaching as well as other initiatives.

We support employee wellbeing through regular socials and team challenges, and we close quarterly for all-staff training afternoons. We also support newly qualified GPs to apply for the GP Fellowship scheme.
