New updates to the online form for GP patient registrations
The online GP registration form has been updated to better identify current and former UK Armed Forces members. Patients are now asked if they or a family member have ever served in the regular or reserve UK Armed Forces. This change aims to improve data collection, enabling practices to offer tailored support and signpost veterans and their families to NHS priority services, such as mental health, physical health and prosthetics.
For more information on the changes, read the updated article on the Register with a GP surgery website.
