Practice Nurse – Frome Valley Medical Centre
Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible, and reliable Primary Care Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking for a Nurse who has previous experience working in primary care as a practice nurse, and unfortunately, we are unable to accept any applications that do not have this experience.
Hours:
We are looking for at least 21hrs per week but will consider up to 37.5 hours per week, working
within the practice opening hours of 07:30–18:30 (Monday–Friday), with enhanced hours on
Thursday evenings until 8:00pm.
Salary:
Up to £42,529 pro rata per annum, (£21.81 per hour) depending on experience.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Primary Care Practice Nurse to join our established and collaborative nursing team at Frome Valley Medical Centre. We are a forward-thinking,
supportive practice serving a patient population of 14,500.
Our dynamic nursing team includes practice nurses, healthcare assistants, and a phlebotomist, delivering high-quality chronic disease management and a wide range of enhanced services.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a primary care setting
- Competence in chronic disease management, specifically in Diabetes or Asthma (minimum requirement)
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to undertake further training as needed
- A team player who is proactive and adaptable to the evolving challenges of primary care
