Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Location: Priory Surgery, Bristol
Salary: £13.00 - £14.49 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, part-time role (between 15 – 22.5 hours per week)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our practice team. Working under the supervision of the Lead Practice Nurse, you will support the delivery of patient care, including treatment, screening, and health promotion.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venepuncture
• Deliver vaccinations (including flu and COVID-19)
• Carry out ECGs
• Provide wound care and dressings
• Record baseline observations (BP, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation)
• Support chronic disease clinics and health promotion
• Prepare and maintain clinical rooms and equipment
• Process laboratory samples in line with protocols

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in venepuncture and wound care/dressings
• Competence in clinical observations and patient care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A professional, caring, and patient-focused approach

Desirable Skills

• Experience in ECGs
• Experience delivering vaccinations
