CQC Leadership
This practical module develops nurse leaders’ understanding of their contribution to regulatory compliance and continuous improvement under the CQC framework.
Delegates will explore CQC expectations and the characteristics of well-led services, alongside practical approaches to inspection preparation, evidence gathering, documentation and staff engagement. The session also considers the leadership role during inspections and how continuous improvement can support services to remain inspection ready every day.

Governance & Risk
This module develops nurse leaders’ understanding of their responsibilities for creating safe, accountable clinical services.
Delegates will explore the principles of clinical governance and effective risk management, including incident reporting, risk identification and assessment, Duty of Candour and learning from events. The session considers how effective leadership contributes to a positive safety culture and high-quality patient care.
