NHS Staff shedding pounds on a free NHS Programme
NHS Digital Weight Management Programme is helping patients and NHS Staff lose over 8 pounds in weight. An NHS research paper published in an international magazine, the Obesity Journal, shows that those who stuck to and finished the 12 week programme, lost over half a stone in weight whilst on the programme.
Launched three years ago in July 2021, over 400,000 people have so far been referred to the service by their GP. Over 29,000 NHS staff who’ve met the criteria have taken advantage of a free direct staff offer. Check your eligibility for the free staff offer.
