Seasonal Immunisation Training (Flu, Shingles, Pneumococcal & RSV) – Update (Virtual)

This training programme is designed for healthcare professionals involved in the delivery, support or governance of seasonal immunisation services. It provides an overview of the knowledge, standards and responsibilities required to deliver vaccinations safely and effectively, in line with UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) guidance and national minimum standards.

The course enables delegates to assess their role within vaccination services and ensure they meet expected professional and clinical requirements.

 

What This Training Covers

The training focuses on national seasonal immunisation programmes, including:

  • Influenza (Flu) vaccination
  • Shingles (Herpes Zoster) vaccination
  • Pneumococcal (Pneumo) vaccination
  • Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccination

Content is aligned with current UKHSA guidance and relevant Green Book principles.
