With over ten years of experience, we are proud to offer our members access to courses supporting you in your work. If you are in General Practice, we have a training course for you.

Practice Staff Training

Only Practice Managers / Lead Nurses are authorised to book staff onto training sessions.

There is a strict limit of 3 attendees per practice per course.

If you would like to request more than three places, please email us at ALMCLearningHub@almc.co.uk, and we will review availability and respond accordingly.

CPD Funding

2025/26 CPD funding has been distributed to PCNs. Each eligible staff member can access £246.96. There is no information available for 2026/27 funding at the moment.

CPD funding is available to:

AHP Professions / Art Therapists / Dietitians / Drama Therapists / Midwives / Music Therapists / Nursing Associates / Occupational Therapists / Operating Department Practitioners / Orthoptists / Osteopaths / Paramedics / Physiotherapists / Podiatrists / Prosthetist Orthotists / Radiographers (Diagnostic & Therapeutic / Registered Nurses / Speech and Language Therapists

 

External Funding Sources

RCN Foundation

Offers a variety of educational and professional development grants. RCN membership is not required.

Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing (QICN)

Currently not offering grants for external study but periodically shares opportunities.

Florence Nightingale Foundation

Provides leadership scholarships for nurses and midwives at NHS Agenda for Change Band 7 or equivalent roles.

Duration: 18-month leadership development programme
